Workshop Pila is a part of Exalo Drilling S.A. leading onshore drilling contractor in Central-East Europe. Exalo Drilling SA was created in February 2013 from the merger of five drilling and oilfield services companies from the PGNiG Group: PNiG NAFTA Piła S.A., PNiG Jasło SA, ZRG Krosno sp. o.o., PN "Diament" sp. o.o., PNiG Kraków S.A ..

Workshop Pila began their activity in 1956 as a unit for maintaining the operations of oil facilities at the then Oil and Gas Exploration NAFTA Pila. The first base of the workshop were the buildings located at ul. Walki Młodych 49 in Pila taken over from the Młot Cooperative. Retaining the name "Hammer", the workshop operated in this place for the next 40 years until 1996. This year, PNiG NAFTA Pila has finished the investment regarding the construction of a new workshop at the Trading and Material Base located in Pila, Al. Powstańców Wielkopolskich 167. So from 1996 a new chapter of its operation began for the workshop. They can carry out their services in new repair halls with a total area of ​​over 5,500 m², equipped with modern equipment and machinery. The tasks that he carried out and continue to perform are repairs of drilling equipment subassemblies, including: diesel engines, piston and vortex pumps and compressors, as well as the production of new components, parts of equipment and structures. It is possible to perform machining, bend and work sheet metal, perform a full range of welding work, carry out inspection, testing and repair of drill string components, carry out non-destructive testing. In 2009, a painting chamber with a shot blasting plant was put into use. This ensures optimal conditions for controlling the technological process, ensuring the highest quality of services. Currently, a group of over 90 employees, using their extensive experience, implements orders for the oil industry both at home and abroad. As a company, we have functioning quality, environmental and safety management systems that are compliant with the following standards: ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001: 2009, OHSAS 18001: 2007.

In addition, we have API certificate for products manufactured in accordance with API Spec 7-1 and API Spec 7-2. The certificate gives the right to label with the API Monogram (quality mark) of the manufactured products covered by this certificate.
